Because rates change based on season, day of the week, and availability, the fastest and most accurate way to get your rate is to enter your dates directly into the booking calculator on Cabin Butler. It updates in real time, so you’ll always see the true rate for your stay.
A 50% deposit is due at booking. If your stay is within 14 days of arrival, full payment is due at booking.

30+ days before arrival: 85% refund. Less than 30 days: no refund unless the dates are rebooked, in that case, 85%.

2 nights, year-round.
Holidays: 3–4 nights (varies by holiday).

Property & Amenities
Yes! All our cabins are pet-friendly. $20/night per pet.
Please keep pets off furniture and out of the hot tub, and don’t leave them unattended unless crated. Clean up and bag any waste.

Each cabin has electric baseboard heaters plus a central wood-burning stove. Firewood bundles can be purchased and delivered from our on-site team and are $15.
Yes! We recently completed an extensive wifi upgrade, so you’ll be able to stream or get work done during your stay.
There is no additional charge for wifi during your stay.
A non-refundable cleaning fee is included with every reservation, covering a thorough clean and fresh linens between guests.
Every cabin has at least one step up to the entrance, and some have a full staircase to the main deck. Cabin 2, the Wildlife Cabin, has just a single step, making it the easiest to access.

Every cabin bathroom has a single standing shower rather than a bathtub. Our cabins are cozy, older mountain buildings, so the bathrooms are on the smaller side.

For larger groups, we recommend booking multiple cabins so everyone has plenty of room. Give us a call and we’re happy to help you find the right combination.

For safety, our cabins are equipped with an exterior Ring doorbell camera near the front entrance of each cabin. The camera faces outward only and does not capture any interior spaces — your privacy inside the cabin is fully protected.

Pinetop Vista Cabins is centrally located in Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ, in the White Mountains, inside the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.
We’re just a quarter mile off the main Highway 260 at the end of Penrod Lane. This intersection is where you’ll also find Charlie Clark’s Steakhouse and Eddie’s Country Store.
Plan for about 3.5 hours from either Phoenix or Tucson, though your exact drive time depends on traffic and any road construction along the way.
While we’re not directly on a lake, the local area is home to numerous fishing spots just a short drive away, perfect for a day of casting a line.
At 7,000 ft in the White Mountains, expect cooler temps than the Valley: a welcome escape in summer, and snow-ready in winter.
