This reservation is for Cabin 5: The Ponderosa PLUS the lower level, Cabin 6 or “The Bunkhouse” as we call it. The price shown here will reflect renting the combination of the two levels. If you would just like to rent Cabin 5, please rent through that page.

The bunkhouse is the lower level of Cabin 5: The Ponderosa. It has a separate kitchen, bathroom, living room with futon, gas fireplace, a large bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds, full and twin, and cable TV with DVD. This make a great addition for families or people traveling together but wanting more space.
This is a perfect solution suitable for groups of more than 6 people. It will comfortably sleep 8-10 guests, 12 guests maximum. Please see the details of available beds in the table below.

Keep in mind the steps to get to Cabin 5. Our cabin 5 is the upstairs level of this cabin accessible from two stairways: one wraps around the front left side and is flanked with decorative wagon wheels, the second set of stairs is covered under the roof line and comes up to access the same left side deck. There is a door off the entry room of Cabin 6, which connects the covered stairs to the upper deck of Cabin 5.

There is no inside stairway from the lower level to the upper level.

Our Cabins 5 offers the option to add the Bonus Space (The Cabin 6 Bunkhouse or the lower level) for no additional rental charge. There is just an added cleaning fee to add the lower level of living space. This combination listing is priced by Season and by Weekday/Weekend. There is a 2 night minimum except during specified Holidays.
There is a nonrefundable cleaning fee of $150 (+ applicable pet fee) plus tax.
